pH Neutralization is an essential treatment process in many industrial manufacturing environments as they can produce acidic wastewater streams, which must be neutralized before discharge to meet pH, metal and other trade effluent discharge requirements. Any industry that releases wastewater into sewer systems, lakes, streams or other surface waters are required to neutralize this effluent before allowing it to be discharged or treated further in biological processes, such as anaerobic or activated sludge. In many cases, non-compliance results in fines and other costly consequences.

Certain products can be added to the treatment process to help with pH Neutralization and, traditionally, these have been sodium hydroxide (caustic soda) and calcium hydroxide (lime). However, these compounds are reactive and can cause high pH levels if not controlled correctly. OMEX manufacture and supply Magmex for pH Neutralization of acidic wastewater which is a safe and easy to regulate alternative.

Read more about ph neutralisation.

pH Neutralization is an essential treatment process in many industrial manufacturing environments as they can produce acidic wastewater streams, which… Continue reading ph neutralization of industrial wastewater
[112

post-11233","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-environmental
